Participant FAQ’s

What is a product manager?

Product Managers lead and work across teams to get a product designed, built and launched.

As a Product Manager, you’ll work closely with our engineers to guide products from conception to launch.

You’ll bridge technology and business by designing products customers love, while working cross-functionally with teams such as Engineering, Sales, Marketing and Finance.

You’ll be responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle.

Is it hard to become a product manager?

Because product management blends so many skills and responsibilities, it can be a difficult role to achieve. Product managers must demonstrate the ability to make sound business decisions, simplify UX, and understand technology. Product managers often work in other jobs before demonstrating the ability to develop a new product and lead a team.

How much do entry-level product managers make?

According to Glassdoor.com the estimated total pay for an Entry Level Product Manager is $104,128 per year in the United States, with an average salary of $79,269 per year.

Zip Recuriter confirms as of May 3, 2023, the average annual pay for a Junior Product Manager in the United States is $75,575 a year.

What kind of roles will I be qualified for after completing the program?

Junior PM

Associate PM

Product Owner

Product Manager Intern

Why the PM Project over other courses and programs?

Most programs offer coursework and certifications. While this is an acceptable way to learn it lacks the nuance of what happens in the daily life of a PM. What’s better than a certification? The hands-on experience actually doing the job. When recruiters look at your resume which do you think will be more valuable to the employer, being certified to do the job or actually having done the job?
